Home/Kitchen sets
Kitchen sets
Real kitchens, built and lit, ready for the camera.
Ovens, hobs, sinks, taps and stone worktops in a range of finishes. These are finished kitchens, not flats or props, and they are ready for a camera.

The kitchens
A kitchen for every mood.
Pick one for the day or move between several. They all sit on the same floor, a few steps apart.

Green stone, street side

Brick wall and bar stools
A pale stone island with seating, a brick wall behind and a band of windows above.

Dark oak
A built-in oven in an oak island, against a charcoal wall. Warm and low-lit.

Black stone
A worktop floating over lit shelving, with dark tall cabinets and glass doors.

White marble
A waterfall island in front of a white wall of ovens and coffee.

Walnut and stone
Fluted walnut, a stone backsplash with a lit shelf, and a gas hob.

Cooking on set
A live kitchen where the cooking really happens.
One kitchen has eight working cooktops, each with downdraft ventilation. It is where we run cooking classes and demonstrations, and it works the same way for cooking shows, recipe videos and food content.
Tell us what you are making and we will confirm the setup.

Good to know
Cooking, access and light
Can we cook on site?
Yes. We have a live kitchen with eight working cooktops, each with downdraft ventilation, and it is where we run our cooking classes and demonstrations. Tell us what you plan to cook and for how many people, and we will confirm it suits the kitchen.
Can we move the furniture or change the styling?
The kitchens are built in and stay as they are. Ask us about the smaller pieces, such as furniture and styling, and we will tell you what can move.
What is the light like?
Tall street-side windows bring in daylight, and on a sunny day the sun reaches the floor. Overhead track lighting covers the rest of the day.
Where do trucks and equipment go?
Load in through the bay on Abbott Street, or through the main double doors, which are 11 feet wide and open onto both Water Street and Abbott Street. There is no on-site parking, and a few commercial spots on Abbott are first come, first served. Gastown is a busy shooting neighbourhood and most crews arrive with their own parking plan. We are glad to talk through load-in before you book.
Tell us what you have in mind.
A date, a rough idea and the size of your group is enough to start. We reply in plain terms with what is possible and what it costs.
